here is the page on scratch removal from the owners manual for no reason at all

Wow I hope someone doesn't key a cybertruck in a vertical line through yellow green and blue areas that would be a serious act of vandalism and I really want to be very clear here that someone should definitely not do that

[–] Nakoichi@hexbear.net 4 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Looks like the worst spot for that would be just in front of the rear wheel well.

[–] Infamousblt@hexbear.net 4 points 4 days ago

Yes definitely do not key a cybertruck here

[–] LangleyDominos@hexbear.net 3 points 4 days ago

This is like one of those puzzles where you have to connect all the houses to the utilities using one line. How do you scratch in such a way that you hit all the areas with one stroke

There isn't a definitive connection between this diagram, this post, and the fact that I now keep a hunting slingshot in my glove box.

I'm continuing my aggressive thumbs downing at them every time I see one at a stop light while I'm walking by.

One actually turned around and came back towards me and so I continued with the thumbs downing for the length of his approach. He slowed his vehicle thinking about it but was too much of a coward to actually do anything

Buncha pussies

I'm out here fighting cars and winning. This is my praxis

I point and laugh

Especially since the one I know belongs to some guy who's been trying to sell it since he bought it

Other models get a thumbs down from me. Deploreans get the finger.

adventure-time

Be careful given how it is I think a scratch might a total it.

does keying the traditional way a cybtruk work? I'd be worried my key would be damaged by the steel body paneling. wouldn't it be easier to tickle the tires or something?

[–] Nakoichi@hexbear.net 19 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Idk I was just walking by and didn't want it's cameras to catch me so I just casually struck it with one of my old unused keys since I had the opportunity

[–] CommunistCuddlefish@hexbear.net 10 points 4 days ago (1 children)

That's the best way, just carry a defunct key to use as a tool. I have a key that's my "scraping fascist stickers off" key from an old broken bike lock.

[–] MeowZedong@lemmygrad.ml 7 points 4 days ago

Or a little squirt gun with bleach

[–] tactical_trans_karen@hexbear.net 8 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Use the screwdriver that you've designated for chiseling and prying. Most are made of a hardened tool steel. The stubby ones are great for concealment!

Only for people with a hobby for woodworking or knick-knack crafting

For absolutely no reason at all, I just wanted to post this picture of a cordless angle grinder, that with a proper disc, can cut through a sheet of steel in seconds. Again: no reason at all. I just think it's neat.
