We’re also pansexual genderfluid woke leftist trekkie furries. That’s why you love us.

Oh no, the Linux bros are infecting this community

[–] secret300@lemmy.sdf.org 35 points 1 month ago

They've been here the whole time, dormant... Waiting for the right moment

You are on colonized soil, invader

[–] MangioneDontMiss@lemm.ee 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I thought we disliked colonizers here?

[–] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 3 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

Correct, that's why Windows users aren't acceptable

Idgaf, Windows deserves every piece of hate that comes its way, especially the latest iteration that purposely hides features from you and constantly interrupts your workflow with useless popups

[–] nickwitha_k@lemmy.sdf.org 17 points 1 month ago

It's not even an OS at this point as much as adware, spyware, and malware (ex. intentionally breaking multiboot) in a trench coat. To top it all off, it is just terrible for performance and reliability (on top of, you know, spying on you and likely making that "recall" screenshots available to governments to help them find dissidents).

[–] MangioneDontMiss@lemm.ee 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I'm definitely in the minority, but I like windows 11 a lot. Its got a lot of great features that 10 didn't have. And almost everything that people complain about in windows 11 is pretty easy to turn off or change.

[–] glitchdx@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

sounds like you lucked out.

from what I've seen, it's completely random on a pc by pc basis if an update will re-enable some "feature" that the user manually disabled.

I think microsoft does this on purpose, so that some people can share their genuine good opinions while still ruining it for the majority of users.

I don't read high school dramas or romances, usually, but I do sort of wonder what the source is. Always love a good betrayal or interpersonal strife.

[–] MyNameIsAtticus@lemmy.world 21 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I got curious and searched a little bit to find you an answer. All I can find online is people saying it’s a meme tracing of some porn

[–] helpImTrappedOnline@lemmy.world 15 points 1 month ago (2 children)
[–] Mac@mander.xyz 4 points 1 month ago

This seems fairly common, tbh

I actually don't know, I stole this meme from some bird people.

I will try to track the og poster down and ask them for the source, as I am now curious as well.

[–] Badabinski@kbin.earth 13 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I found it because some people on the alien site asked about it many years ago. It's Watashi no Suki na Oji-san x Ore no Suki na Iede Shoujo Jou | My beloved Mister & My beloved Runaway Girl Chapter 3.

It's very much porn.

[–] MonkderVierte@lemmy.zip 5 points 1 month ago

Love me some porn with good story for a change.

[–] sugarboydede@lemm.ee 4 points 1 month ago

Hello there

[–] Isa@feddit.org 15 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

*Looking confused up from my facebook profile*.

[–] DoucheBagMcSwag@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 1 month ago (2 children)

No one can seem to find the original source to this except the one that says BURGER KING

[–] Leonixster@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Well I have bad news for you: that's (probably) the original. However, it does seem that there's this other one [WARNING, NSFW] with a panel that looks extremely similar which might've been the inspiration for this, but that's just speculation on my behalf.

[–] DoucheBagMcSwag@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

See I posted that here but when I saw it wasn't the EXACT source I deleted it here

what's wrong with windows now?

I know people like to trash it, but I've used enough linux in my life to appreciate windows. Just not windows update.

[–] Takapapatapaka@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

For me, bloatware and spyware. Linux makes my older pcs function in a usable manner and my current one having only the softwares i want it to have.

[–] Shanmugha@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

Me on Windows: can I play a game at 10 PM? - Nah, I've serious not-your-business shit to do, so enjoy your throttling animation

And that was years before "Ima going to screenshot whatever you are doing every 10 minutes or so, processes it on your computer and store. Safely store? Lol no"

So no, it was my first operating system, but modern windows is a pile of hostile crap
