Honestly the best looking cybertruck I've seen.

[–] superkret@feddit.org 36 points 15 hours ago

It's just a nice gesture, to protect the metal with paint, since the factory forgot.

Using an apostrophe there is idiotic

This can’t be good for insurance rates on Teslas.

[–] EvolvedTurtle@lemmy.world 12 points 16 hours ago

Tbf the insurance rates were already pretty trash I believe

Is critical thinking dead? Somehow nobody tagged the driver or front windows? Fake AF. Also the NYPD truck somehow looks like a farm truck.

Well he may have ... invited people outside Trump Tower to spray-paint his truck with messages on the Election day (so the meme is indeed "misleading" - this is a stunt). "Farm truck" does seem to be on the wikipedia List of vehicles of the New York City Police Department among large trucks though.

Nah, they just support the message. Also, I don't think this community is entirely serious bsnss?

The real picture just has a swastika but same vibe.

Looks better with the wrap!

Wait...

[–] henfredemars@infosec.pub 23 points 20 hours ago

Looks like most of the dumpsters in my town.

[–] southsamurai@sh.itjust.works 35 points 20 hours ago (1 children)

Ngl, I actually like the effect of that.

[–] metaStatic@kbin.earth 31 points 20 hours ago

literally anything is an improvement

[–] singletona@lemmy.world 12 points 18 hours ago

Now clear coat it.

[–] njm1314@lemmy.world 15 points 19 hours ago

Actually an improvement

[–] Letstakealook@lemm.ee 16 points 19 hours ago (2 children)

How long has this vehicle been sitting there? That's a lot of tags.

[–] FauxLiving@lemmy.world 36 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

They pulled up to a stop light

[–] lars@lemmy.sdf.org 4 points 16 hours ago

F you that’s so fucking hilarious

[–] Chef@sh.itjust.works 4 points 18 hours ago

This has to be an older photo.

I saw that “car” in the same impound lot over by Javits center maybe 2 months ago. It’s been removed since at least new years.

[–] taiyang@lemmy.world 12 points 20 hours ago (2 children)

I thought about that when I pulled up next to one. They do have side cameras like all Teslas, so I imagine you'd want to cover your tracks if you did something like this.

[–] PalmTreeIsBestTree@lemmy.world 8 points 16 hours ago

Tag the cameras first

[–] Decq@lemmy.world 3 points 15 hours ago

Surely this falls under free speech under the free speech absolutists in office, right? Right??

[–] feedum_sneedson@lemmy.world 3 points 16 hours ago

Yes, that fits the cyberpunk aesthetic rather well.

Don't fool yourselves. This happens to any "blank canvas" ie truck or car left in a bad neighborhood. Ain't nobody targeting shit.

[–] Punchshark@lemmy.ca 11 points 20 hours ago

I still think this vehicle draws extra incentive
