Debatable. The US is still largely functioning as a union under the constitution, for the time being. Expect a real constitutional crisis to have entire states reject the authority of the federal government.
I think what we have right now are some cracks, or signs.
Meanwhile the president is making executive orders in direct violation and noone is drafting impeachment....

Maybe if the New York Times wasn't such a blandly conservative institution things would be mildly better.
Checks and balances have completely failed as congress has been captured too. Even democrats are now taking the mask off and complaining that the uppity populace is asking them to do something contrary to their corporate overlords.
