Lego is so old that the patent on lego expired like a decade ago. Now you have alternatives like https://mouldkingcorp.com/
Damn they have some nice looking "space wars" sets
Wonder how pissed my nephew would be if I started getting him these...
The quality of some of these are way better than mega blocks but still not up to the par of Lego in most cases. In my experience knockoff mini figs are better made than loose bricks.

Share a zelda? You mean like how Bowser and Mario share Peach?
I mean I guess.......Zelda gets kidnapped just as often as Peach, and yet nobody ever says Ganon and Zelda are willing lovers, but EVERYBODY says it about Peach and Bowser.
Kinda weird, right? IF someone EVER gets kidnapped, its once in a lifetime thing. If they survive, they don't get kidnapped AGAIN.
Certainly not 13 or 16 more times.....
Zelda usually doesn't get kidnapped, though. She gets stuck in a refrigerator somewhere.
Personally this set is a little unimpressive/boring. It'll be interesting to see where they go from here cause the initial Mario sets were also lackluster.
That's on par for a set with that many pieces.
I'm not sure if it's valid anymore (I am far from a brick aficionado but I have friends that are very into it), but the old rule of thumb says $0.10 per piece, which would put this at $250. $50 Nintendo tax doesn't seem out of the question, either.
But it looks like most of them are the leaves.
Yeah, I don't disagree. Certainly not worth it at that price point for me.
It looks cool, but I'll never get over Lego sticker shock. I guess I've been out of the game too long.
I know right. For 300 notes, I want a lot more Lego than that.

Man, I hope they'll make some smaller sets too. These are really cool display pieces, but I don't have the room or willingness to spend that kind of money.
