Imo "gray" eyes are just a muted blue tone, and "yellow" eyes are just a light brown

I've always thought I have blue eyes cuz when I look at them, they're clearly blue, but people tell me they're gray, and I never got it, but then I realized my type of blue is like a muted/desaturated kind of blue, a "steel blue" as it's called so now I kind of get why they say that.

The cool light grey color seems extremely rare, but a lot of people have the kind where after two minutes of looking and trying to decide if they are green, brown, or grey, you would end up calling them grey

yeah but the yellow ones aren't bright yellow, more like a light yellowy brown. or hazel without the blue tint

I have hazel eyes but I don't ever think about it much. One girl in high school told me I had pretty eyes and that was kind.

Mine are pretty much gray. Or basically the colour of the nearby Baltic sea which is a sort of greenish, sometimes blueish or yellowish gray depending on light, but mostly gray. Most people in my family have these same eyes, they are very average and common here. When I visited the US I got told they look weird and cool, but to me they are just very plain and basic.

Yeah I have grey eyes, technically steel blue or whatever the fuck.

Blue, but you have to shine a harsh light directly into them to get them to tell.

Gray eyes are totally real, just rare. Idk about yellow.

Edit: if by yellow you mean amber, yes actually I have amber eyes, but it's more of a very light brown than yellow.

Unless you have jaundice then you have very yellow eyes. But that also means you should see a doctor.

I have a yellow ring inside of my eye around the pupil. Rest of my eye color is blue - kind of looks like a corona of light. I've never seen someone with fully yellow eyes, but apparently the pigmentation is at least partially possible.

My father had what I would consider grey eyes. Technically I guess a very pale "steel" blue. But looked grey in most lights.
