All if favor of releasing the list of people who opposed releasing the list say aye.

Aye!

[–] Showroom7561@lemmy.ca 8 points 2 hours ago

Republicans are worse than the Catholic Church.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 2 points 1 hour ago

In the upcoming mid-term election, EVERY Democrat should be making this vote a primary part of their campaign marketing. Tie that vote to every MAGA Nazi, and don't let go. These people are pro-Epstein, and pro-Child Sexual Abuse.

If the Dems is an incumbent, running against a MAGA who wasn't in office, blame them for the vote anyway. Declare that they are just another vicious MAGA Nazi, and would have voted for this, and every other MAGA vote that HitlerPig demanded. They may not have been in office but they would vote 100% MAGA.

Make them wear it through the whole campaign.

That fuckin' Epstein ruined "Welcome Back Kotter" for me.

[–] Tiger666@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 hours ago (1 children)

I don't get it, how so?

(Thanks for putting the theme song in my head, what a lovely song and what a good show).

[–] MnemonicBump@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 46 minutes ago

Best I can guess? Jeffrey Epstein was once a young, under-qualified, math teacher in New York?

[–] TimewornTraveler@lemmy.dbzer0.com -2 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

Democrats don't have to block it if they know Republicans will. The votes are for show and they're all in on it. Or at least a significant number of them are, either by direct involvement or complicity.

[–] webadict@lemmy.world 4 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

But Republicans DID block it, right? That's the only part I heard.

[–] TimewornTraveler@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 1 hour ago* (last edited 1 hour ago) (2 children)

yes, those are the fall guys. that's in the interests of the capitalists, that you only hear that part, friend. the red vs blue culture war is theater.

don't get me wrong: if you or me wanted to run for house of reps and change things, we'd probably be signing up as blue. there's probably some good-hearted farmers doing the same, signing up for red because those are their cultural "good guys".

we'd all be naive and we'd all be drowned in the corruption, most likely.

[–] theparadox@lemmy.world 3 points 1 hour ago

yes, those are the fall guys. that's in the interests of the capitalists, that you only hear that part, friend. the red vs blue culture war is theater.

Yes and no. There are legitimate, progressive leftists that don't suckle on the billionaire teat and don't serve capitalist interests on the blue team.

Also, not relevant. If you care about justice for those on Epstein's client list then those who were willing to hide it need to be named and suffer consequences. Then you make it come up again and do the same thing regardless of whoever obstructs it again, red or blue. Do it until justice is served. Name and shame them afterwards, don't let the world forget.

[–] webadict@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

Okay, but the red guys did it, right? They could a made the blue guys do it, which would've pushed the feudalistic billionaire breakdown of America easier for them, but... They didn't? Why not?

[–] DancingBear@midwest.social 1 points 9 minutes ago

Probably would have been team blue if Biden was in office, but it doesn’t make sense for the republicans to defy their president

[–] WorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.today 3 points 4 hours ago

Good, I need my own list now. For reasons not involving persecution of these individuals.

[–] john_lemmy@slrpnk.net 26 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

Hackers, do us a solid and release this shit. It's impossible that it isn't on one of these muppets' downloads folder or some shit considering the type of infosec these people follow.

Yeah, this seems like a prime target for Anonymous. Would be interesting to see big news outlets struggling between chasing a huge story and not wanting to cover something that outs their bosses (since there's probably lots of them on there too).

From reddit.... https://www.reddit.com/r/politics/s/eBjDX0zt07

Here are the Epstein Files. For those of you who have seen this comment before, my apologies. I am trying to keep this information alive. Please feel free to share. Contact me if you want provenance.

https://joshwho.net/EpsteinList/gov.uscourts.nysd.447706.1320.0-combined.pdf (verified court documents)

https://joshwho.net/EpsteinList/black-book-unredacted.pdf (verified pre-Bondi) Trump is on page 85, or pdf pg. 80

Trump’s name is circled. The circled individuals are the ones involved in the trafficking ring according to the person who originally released the book. These people would be “The List “ Here is the story.

https://cdn.factcheck.org/UploadedFiles/Johnson/_TrumpEpstein/_Calif/_Lawsuit.pdf here’s a court doc of Epstein and Trump raping a 13 yr old together.

Some people think this claim is a hoax. Here is Katies testimony on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnib-OORRRo

Reminder that Virginia Giuffre (Virginia Roberts in this document) died earlier this year, in an apparent suicide.

Which is presumably convenient for somebody.

[–] Hatshepsut@lemmy.world 53 points 13 hours ago (4 children)

[–] Star@lemmy.blahaj.zone 8 points 9 hours ago

Great, this is almost as good as the real list

[–] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 28 points 12 hours ago (4 children)

So we can all assume that every single person that voted against it was actually a client, right? Do their voters know they're voting for Epstein's clients?

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 21 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

more likely they protecting MAJOR DONORS to the gop.

I think the whole reason this is even in the press right now is to remind the GOP's major backers that they need to keep backing the GOP or face personal destruction because of their involvement in this shit. The GOP is making it clear that only they will fight to keep this hidden.

[–] Fleur_@aussie.zone 9 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

Can't assume that because anybody can just pay to make politicians vote how they want

[–] Bronzebeard@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 hour ago

I'm going to assume that anyone voting to hide a lost of pedos is a pedo. They can feel free to prove otherwise.

What he did with usaid also has killed kids.

[–] HurricaneLiz@hilariouschaos.com 1 points 56 minutes ago

THIS. 14 million ppl are going to die now bc of trump. How many did ghengis khan kill?

[–] selkiesidhe@sh.itjust.works 72 points 15 hours ago (2 children)

So a bunch of pedos and people who are okay with pedos.

Dems need to run with this. Point it out to the MAGAt moron brigade and keep the fire lit. Those twits have the attention span of a gnat but maybe if you keep jingling the keys long enough, something might seep in...?

Dems need to run with this.

Lol just wait until dinos like Fetterman castigate their fellow democrats for daring to emphasize it. During the election Fetterman ripped on democrats for harping on trump's felony convictions, saying we were supposed to be the party of "forgiveness and redemption". Imagine supporting "forgiveness and redemption" for people involved in child sex slavery.

[–] smayonak@lemmy.world 32 points 12 hours ago

Trump himself tweeted (or "truthed" which is more 1984 than anything ive heard recently) that Obama and Clinton made the list up to attack him. This guy just admitted to being on the list.

[–] FrostbittenDuck@lemmy.zip 10 points 11 hours ago

Been waiting ten years for these chucklefucks to face the consequences of their backing Trump's blatant fascism. Hasn't happened yet. I'll believe it when I see it.

[–] crankyrebel@lemmy.dbzer0.com 80 points 17 hours ago

More like 'Full List of Pedophiles who blocked...'

[–] Oyml77@lemmy.today 24 points 14 hours ago

Republicans would rather protect rich people who rape kids than working people. The GOP is beyond redemption and there is no sanity or humanity left in it. Everyone needs to stop acting like there is any way back to normalcy that includes them as part of it.

[–] crystalmerchant@lemmy.world 33 points 16 hours ago (5 children)

What is the logic behind voting No? (Yes I understand any such logic would be twisted and flawed)

Other than "my name's on the list so I would prefer the list stay secret"
