She's pretty close to the top of the list for the American Nuremberg trials.

[–] Grandwolf319@sh.itjust.works 52 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Did Musk not pay attention to the last 8 years of how the orange keeps dodging consequences?

It’s honestly his most impressive trait

[–] jaggedrobotpubes@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago

It's got nothing to do with him, he's just a loser.

It's the cloud of losers around him, constantly embarrassing themselves, trying to help him, that off themselves constantly, in trying to help him for absolutely no gain or benefit that do it.

It's only a measure of how pathetic the Establishment Party types are.

[–] frezik@lemmy.blahaj.zone 28 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Comedians used to joke how nothing could ever stick to Bill Clinton. Trump is making him look like an amateur.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago

Yeah, in the case of Clinton, it was mostly about a stain on a dress, and everything else was one gigantic nothingburger, in spite of all the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy's efforts to make it otherwise...

The proto-qons and the proto-teabaggers (in their pupa phase between Bircher and teabagger/qanon nut) lost their fuckin' minds over both of the Clintons. Hillary drove them absolutely apeshit with being the stand-in for every 60s feminist they had hated for decades up to that point, and mostly because she did a bit more than just arrange flowers and have other women over for tea and meaningless meetings at the WH. And Bill drove them nuts for getting a blowjob.

It still makes me chuckle to think about how some of them got so grrr mad that Bill couldn't be removed for getting some lollipop love from Monica. One of them was huffing about this and squealed - "but Bill is MARRIED! This is infidelity!" I asked, "yeah, but is it illegal?" I've never seen one of these type look so impotent in my life when he sagged into his chair, red-faced with rage, and quietly said...."no".

Slick Willy

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 42 points 1 day ago

Bondi didn't shut anything down, she just denied it because that's what Trump wants.

[–] Bwoj@lemmy.world 108 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I find it weird, even comic, that musk feels the same impotent powerlessness in the face of trump’s perfidy as the rest of us.

[–] A_Union_of_Kobolds@lemmy.world 48 points 2 days ago (3 children)

Not the same. He doesn't have to worry about loved ones getting kidnapped.

[–] Vorticity@lemmy.world 21 points 2 days ago (2 children)
[–] Boddhisatva@lemmy.world 46 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Oh, he never will. For his loved ones to be in danger he would need to be capable of feeling love in the first place.

[–] notarobot@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 day ago

They could deport all his children to a communist country. That will get him angry

[–] NuXCOM_90Percent@lemmy.zip 9 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

If trump/the fbi gave him a sufficiently exhaustive list of all of his children, I could see it. musk needs to get clean piss and spare organs from SOMEWHERE and it hurts his (father's) life goal of single handedly making the (white) human race significantly balder in future generations.

In all seriousness, the "noveau rich" (of which the child of an emerald mine owner considers himself to be part) tend to be obsessed with their children. They think they are feudal lords who are going to use their children as bargaining pieces. So they might openly hate their families even more than the "old money" families, but they consider them their strongest bargaining pieces. And since musk is both...

[–] EisFrei@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago (2 children)

You think there is a chance that he might actually fall in love with someone?

Ha! Joke's on you! Elon doesn't love anyone but himself, and I'm not even sure about that.

[–] A_Union_of_Kobolds@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

There's one thing I can think of that would solve all these problems for him

[–] SPRUNT@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

If you're talking about ketamine, he's waaaaayyyy ahead of you.

[–] A_Union_of_Kobolds@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Cmon man just OD already please, you know?

[–] SPRUNT@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

That's too easy. I want him to expose all the things and continue ramping his feud with Herr Führer until they both take each other, and all of their sycophantic supporters, out.

It's times like these I think back to when Saddam Hussain was captured and tried for crimes against humanity.....

[–] Hideakikarate@sh.itjust.works 11 points 2 days ago

I mean, he'll likely just make more. Pawns, really. Meat shields.

[–] ms_lane@lemmy.world 75 points 2 days ago (3 children)

'big beautiful bill'

'big bomb'

Who is naming this shit?

And sorry Elon, I don't believe your sudden spin back into UBI after the whole DOGE saga, you're a POS.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 45 points 2 days ago (9 children)

Oh he totally gives a shit about the people. The white people. The white male people who agree with him.

Drugs is a helluva drug

[–] ms_lane@lemmy.world 27 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Drugs I feel is a convenient excuse he's backspinning.

Plenty of people take drugs and don't decide to make DOGE.

Plenty of people in power do drugs and also didn't decide that DOGE was a good idea.

It's not drugs, it's not the result of them.

It's just him.

[–] athairmor@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Decent person + drugs = fun/funny

Insecure asshole + drugs = DOGE + Nazi salute + inflated ego.

Probably missing some terms but you get the idea.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago

It's not drugs, it's not the result of them.

They're affecting him and his decisions. How they are is open to debate. If you're nodding out on camera in the Oval Office, maybe you have a problem.

[–] the_crotch@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 day ago

He's using those people. He doesn't give a shit about them.

Like I keep saying, the cons are very weird and are very keen on the baby talk (meaningless and completely undefined googoo/gaagaa words like "maga", "maha", "big beautiful bill", and just about everything out of Taco's mouth on virtually any topic), although "big bomb" is just being kind of bombastic in my view and is less baby talk.

[–] onslaught545@lemmy.zip 4 points 1 day ago

Trump is illiterate and has advanced dementia, so it makes sense.

[–] vegeta@lemmy.world 74 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I thought the list was sitting on her desk waiting to be reviewed prior to release?

[–] Tolookah@discuss.tchncs.de 49 points 2 days ago

Once you redact all/most of the names, there's no real list anymore.

[–] thedruid@lemmy.world 49 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Then tell us what you know elon

[–] A_Union_of_Kobolds@lemmy.world 44 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Literally nothing that everyone doesn't already know - that Trump was super close with Epstein for years and is obviously a predator.

The evidence is already public, making noise about one list is a waste of time.

[–] RadicalEagle@lemmy.world 16 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Exactly. I’d also say that evidence of Trump’s crimes don’t matter to the people who support him because his crimes don’t matter to the people who support him.

[–] Geobloke@aussie.zone 1 points 1 day ago

Well how many would trust Elon over Donald

[–] nickwitha_k@lemmy.sdf.org 3 points 1 day ago

Conservative morality is generally based on one's place in the hierarchy. They see him as a moral person for being higher in the hierarchy than them, actions don't come into account.

[–] FlexibleToast@lemmy.world 15 points 2 days ago

The same thing he always knew, nothing.

[–] dhhyfddehhfyy4673@fedia.io 18 points 2 days ago (1 children)

But the administration has now confirmed there’s no evidence

Oh, well I guess that's case closed then. lol

[–] Jakeroxs@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 day ago

They'd never lie!

Stupid story from a shoddy source.

Clickbait ineptitude dominates News

why is Rawstiry accepted as a source here?

[–] masterspace@lemmy.ca 5 points 2 days ago

Clickbait article. This is nothing.
