Easy to say when it's not your children or family stuck in their open air prison. We should be more empathetic than the right. They're the party of "Let's find out today how many degrees of separation from numero uno I'm willing to stand up for today (hint, the record is 1).

Sorry, I guess that would be broadcasting, and DB doesn't to my knowledge broadcast anything. I do wonder why they line up to play ball then.

We've entered the era of broadcasting* licenses being brandished as weapons in direct opposition to free press 1st amendment rights. We're gonna see a couple real ones come out of this and a whole lot of propaganda slop.

I think your use of compromised is too narrow here and that's why you're being attacked for it. We can see how he behaves around Musk and it's not too far off Putin if you ignore the public facing nature of it. I don't think Trump is trying to prevent some kompromat either, but clearly favor has been curried behind the scenes. Trump is well known to have, and self admittedly has, a piggy bank in Russia bigger than his piggy bank here, at least in 2016. I think to believe there isn't people on Russia who have similar relationships to the ones in America that make him cucked to Elon Musk is a bit niave, if that's what you're saying.

I would say anyone looking for buyers on favor is inherently a bad person, especially if those favors are always anti-"the one thing you're supposed to do"

Zuck's "How do you do, fellow kids?" Didn't work when he was in college either, that's why Facebook is his avenue of human interaction.

If you believe televangelists, then that needle eye is bigger than the Sahara.

Fascists see no beauty, they have no artistic ability, no eye for talent, no creativity at all. Hitler created a bunch of shitty buildings with no beauty, our fascist movement is going to be led by people who think current AI is capable of replacing artists. The sooner they're labeled clowns the better for the world, especially minorities and nature, or what's left of it.

From my perspective, this doesn't seem very complicated. Putin is rumored to be the richest (now second or third richest) man in the world. Elon gave what would have previously been well within Putin's budget and look at the absolute subjugation Trump is willing to put up with. This was always a quid pro quo, but Trump doesn't operate on Kompromat. In my opinion, it's just buying favor because it literally is that transactional. Trump will only rip you off if he thinks he can get away with it unscathed.

Don't forget, he tried to extort them for investigations in a clear and open example of quid pro quo that investigators were too pussy to call what it was.

They remember, they just hate the world and US global hegemony. Ukraine should be speed running the purchase of nukes imo.

Am I mistaken, or does this budget represent an approximately 10x increase in border spending over 2022?

This article is likely to become more and more relevant, but I wanted to highlight many of these heroes for a central theme, which is that not a single one of these people said, "I will not comply" to make themselves a target. They kept their power and used it to save thousands, or they forged documents or narratives through a normal process without drawing unnecessary attention to themselves.
