Do I die if I drink or eat because if not I just do it for social occasions and otherwise save time and money.

I enjoy eating, so they'd never notice. The only thing it could possibly be an issue is if they decided to try to torture me by starving me, and by that point I'm already fucked.

I think we just cut the food budget in a third so... that's nice. Undetected? What are they going to do, calculate how much a single household should eat, then drag the three of us away when we aren't eating the right amount?

I would do the same I normally do except just not eating, I don't think it really changes much I mostly eat either for pleasure or to literally not die anyway so I'd just not do the latter.

Tbh I managed to almost forget to eat pretty much all of last week so my habits probably wouldn't change much, I'm guessing I can still eat just for the sake of eating right? So I could just eat out every now and again and no one would notice

Why would I want to hide it? I'm turning myself in and letting them do their best to figure out what happened to me, on the condition that I'm paid fairly for my time (just as with any other human trial). If they can figure out how to replicate it, it would be incredibly useful.

I think any scientists or government organizations would be much happier experimenting on a consenting and cooperative subject than a kidnapped and imprisoned one.

I live alone, so I'll get away with it pretty easily. Whenever I eat a meal with others, I'll just eat/drink a small amount.

Easy, continue to eat and drink as expected when in the company of others. If pressed about appetite on any occasion, simply claim to have eaten beforehand.
