I don't really have a problem with the Switch. It's great! I fits all my needs, and I 100% understand if they want to make it the same, just even better.
I hope they keep it the same overall, with small improvements everywhere. Especially inside hardware ofc.

Until Nintendo doesn't show anything official, there's no confirmation that this is actually the successor of the Switch.
There's enough leaks at this point, it's pretty safe to assume Nintendo is just being Nintendo on the announcement. I swear I play leaked builds of half their games before they're even announced these days.

Yes-ish. It is part of the 3rd party case that is being rendered, and is for attaching their external SSD that is MagSafe compatible.
Is anyone kinda....unimpressed? It just seems like a slightly bigger version of the switch. I was kinda hoping for something more substantial...

For real. The Steam Deck and hall effect joysticks make the switch kind of pointless
The exclusive games will need to be really good if a design like this is to sell well. Otherwise they are heading for another Wii U situation.
