It doesn't really rain very much in Las Vegas. It's very possible that this is the first time it's been rained on since it was powered on.

Las Vegas just built this massive hemispheric event hall with the outside completely covered in huge LED screens. It's pretty cool, but also completely obnoxiously bright at night- like a miniature moon covered in those annoyingly bright LED billboards landed right next to the strip
