I don't know, I have one chilean friend and they were extremely happy with Boric's victory, really saddened when the constitution failed and now kinda bitter and says he's becoming a moderate and it's all been pointless
afaik it's the typical generational divide where the youth are a lot more progressive and wanting of change than everyone else
wait... the moderate counter-revolutionary social democrat boric failed, and therefore we should become even more moderate? that is a ridiculous conclusion. educate your friend on this matter if they are at all receptive to being educated.
