Trump has lived such a charmed life up until this point, there is no way he could have conceived of a world where someone would shoot at him.

I totally believe that the assassination attempt completely shattered his perspective.

Being real, it's much, much stranger to imagine a scenario in which an assassination attempt doesn't shake someone to the core. I'm just glad that it broke him rather than turning the maniac dial.
