Shading the condenser unit keeps it cooler and increases it's efficiency and helps keeps my electricity costs down. The sail is high enough and mesh like so that it doesn't trap the hot air. In fact it creates a slight wind tunnel effect. The shade it provides lasts during the hottest part of the day and a tree helpfully blocks the sun for the remainder. The unit is never in full sun this way. Keeping the weeds and other debris away from the unit so that it gets good airflow and cleaning the condenser every year also help with the units efficiency.

Snip:

The BRICS group condemned the attacks by the Israeli regime and the United States on Iran in a statement issued during its summit in Brazil on Sunday.

In a statement issued by BRICS members at the 17th summit in Brazil's Rio on Sunday, "We condemn the military attacks against the Islamic Republic of Iran since June 13, 2025 (23 Khordad 1404) which violate international law."

In their statement, the BRICS members also called for an "immediate, permanent and unconditional ceasefire" in Gaza.

The BRICS Summit is being held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on 6–7 July under the motto “Strengthening Global South Cooperation for More Inclusive and Sustainable Governance”.

Asking this since I've always been told the former and that your bladder rupturing from not going to the toilet is a myth and the story of Tycho Brahe is too old to be reliable. But in recent years, I've seen articles about people drinking alcohol and passing out and their bladders bursting because the sensations got dulled (which still shouldn't affect the sphincters giving way due to the pressure before the bladder actually ruptures, since it's about the sphincters being not physically strong enough to hold back the pressure).

The existence of overflow incontinence would seem to contradict this story from 2020, for example. Alcohol dulls the urge to urinate, but overflow incontinence often happens in absence of this urge as well, and when the detrusor muscles (which squeeze the bladder) aren't working.

What's the straight dope here?

This couple that was in the same train as me, left their seats to change the diaper of their little baby.

Not only did they go away from their luggage, but they left two phones and a large tablet visible and unattended for quite some time!

Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- A 24-year-old Israeli soldier living in occupied Safad, called Daniel Edri, set himself on fire yesterday. His burned body was found inside his car in a forest near Safad. Edri had served in both the Gaza Strip and Lebanon during his reserve duty.

The soldier’s mother said: “He told me he had seen horrors and said, ‘Mom, I constantly smell the burned bodies and see them everywhere.'”
