I understand your frustration. I don’t think anyone believes that the children deserve this; only that it’s the least harmful way to solve a problem that the Russians created. There’s a big difference between the two.
If there were a better, faster, less disruptive option, we would be in favor of that.
Who is the “GENTLEMAN NAMED DONALD J. TRUMP”? I know of no such person. I know who Donald J. Trump is, but he is most certainly not a “gentleman” by any definition I’m familiar with.
Why punish the rest of Estonian society? Why continue to isolate children who can’t speak the local language?

Giving everyone customized solutions to their individual problems would be ideal, but at this scale, it’s impractical. A “rip the band aid off” solution is rough, but at least the issue will be resolved in a generation or two.
Goddammit. I miss it when we were merely an obnoxious pain in the ass, but still mostly reliable. This sucks. Can’t find fault with the author’s reasoning, though.
