Then it would be an inside joke for us!

  1. I make this mistake all the time. Thanks for catching it! Maybe one day I’ll remember.

  2. Huh. Good idea. I dunno, either.

Trump suggested that the Ukrainian president was responsible for starting the war. In reality, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, initiating the current land war.

I’d like it if more summaries of what conservatives say/believe were followed by sentences which began with “In reality…”

The way you type is like any other form of self-expression. If others want to read into it or decide they don’t like it, that’s on them. Type however you like and don’t give it another thought.

You just said why it matters in your previous post

Too much lettuce. I’d let it go to voicemail.

Giving everyone customized solutions to their individual problems would be ideal, but at this scale, it’s impractical. A “rip the band aid off” solution is rough, but at least the issue will be resolved in a generation or two.

This detailed reply provided the context I needed to understand the situation. Thank you!

You know I’d have my phone out, ready to record that shit

Fediverse, I’m guessing? I don’t know for sure.

If I was OOPs dad, I’d be thinking to myself “fuck, somehow I managed to raise this kid right.”

I’d sit back. Way, way back.

I was expecting it to be just another post-apocalyptic drama, and I’ve seen so many mediocre ones that Station 11 wasn’t high on my list. I was very wrong.

Station 11 was well written, well cast, and interesting (if confusing at times).

Just about everyone looks better when they smile. It’s true regardless of gender. I don’t see where sexism enters the equation.

I feel pretty oblivious. What am I missing?

Ever have one of those close conversations with some, and walk away thinking “yeh… I’m a good guy” (or whatever pronoun you choose, of course). I just had that happen. It’s a nice, reassuring feeling.

Is it because of the instance they’re posting from, some kind of “award”, or what?
