We tell white recruits straight up that they're going on a waiting list while we prioritize POC comrades. Our national composition is now much closer to our geographic area, but it remains a policy we have to keep in place (thought a bit less restrictive) to be sure we maintain that throughout our future growth.

Really excited to see what they do with this. Its like the 2nd Hunger Games book except the protagonist actively chooses to return to the game and start a revolution themselves instead of being thrust into it. Idk if this is supposed to be the final season or not but I have faith the team behind this will do it justice

Everyone involved in the book club is taking it seriously and we've had great discussions so far without any irony poisoning. You don't need to be a commie or an anarchist to get a lot out of the experience, we just want more people who will earnestly engage with the work.

If anyone's interested in reading through it with others, we have a book club going for this book right now! It's a fantastic read so far and we just started!
