There is a lot of brainwashing that goes on in German schools so if a quarter of 18-24 year olds are voting for "don't send weapons but israel has a right to defend itself" that should be taken as a good sign.

The east is a podcast has a really good 2 part interview about zionism in germany.

Leftists should be doing combat training if they have the knack but I don't think it is as important to a socialist revolution as it is to a fascist one.

Fascists use intimidation and violence to enforce their ideology. They exclude and persecute minorities but they are sure to communicate that if an individual isn't supportive they can be targeted too. The only way to prove yourself a good fascist is to do inhuman acts to minorities or anti-fascists. Violence is the only path of upward mobility for most fascists.

Leftists use community and organization to build government after the masses overthrow the capitalists. The left does need people that are capable of violence but the primary concern is agitation. Why do martial arts training for an hour if you can make a crowd of ten people angry at capitalists instead?

Tactics is definitely something that leftists should study. If you can agitate and direct people to victory they will respect you and that respect can turn into support for the party easily. (I should read more Mao.)

I did but I didn't want to put that idea into peoples heads because its kinda gross. Not when I do it but thinking about other people doing it is disgusting.

and the leaders of both nations have really solid personal history showing that the west cannot be trusted and the costs if you do trust them. It will take 2 or more generations of leaders at least for the lessons learned by Putin to be forgotten.

This wasn't a problem for me back when I had long hair but recently I was growing a wicked long mustache that was half way down my chin. The peanut butter getting all up in it every morning after my toast was getting annoying so I chopped it off.

You can go into your history and delete things you watched to try to fix it. I started trying to tweek my algo and then just turned the history off all together.

We should remember that there wasn't even a socialist party in Russia till 1898. That's 19 years before the revolution and that party had a major split in 1903 that created the Bolshevik party. Lenin, Stalin, and Trotsky were just the shit posters of their time. There were lots of other voices and ideas floating around. I'm sure many people condemned them for not being grounded in the real world the same way some of todays leftists get called "terminally online."

Say Trump declared an end to term limits and imprisoned opposition in few states. Then invaded Canada and Mexico while setting up concentration camps. Russia and China back the Mexicans (lets face it canada would probably buckle in weeks) Americans start getting conscripted. War starts getting protracted, Trump fires generals for incompetence or because they are too competent and he is getting paranoid of them. The replacement generals see the insanity and decide they need to act to end the meaningless war and trump. So you get a coup maybe the socialists take over maybe you get a junta. Junta is followed by elections at some point, maybe that cycle repeats a few times and maybe when its over its socialist.

This could all happen in the space 20 years. I wont say "its likely" but it isn't without precedent.

spoilerNo problem! Adding milk will make your bread richer and softer. Here's the updated recipe using instant dry yeast and including milk:

Ingredients: 1/4 cup warm water (about 110°F or 45°C)

1/4 cup milk (warmed to the same temperature as the water)

1 teaspoon instant dry yeast

1/2 teaspoon iodized salt

1 tablespoon sugar (optional, for flavor)

1 cup plain flour (plus extra for dusting)

1/4 cup oat bran

1 large egg

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions: Mix the Dry Ingredients:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the plain flour, oat bran, salt, sugar (if using), and instant dry yeast. Mix well.

Add Wet Ingredients:

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the warm water, warm milk, egg, and melted butter.

Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet mixture.

Stir until the dough comes together.

Knead the Dough:

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour as needed.

First Rise:

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.

Shape the Dough:

Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release any air bubbles.

Shape the dough to fit your quarter loaf pan. You can roll it into a log or shape it as desired.

Second Rise:

Place the shaped dough into the greased quarter loaf pan.

Cover it again and let it rise for another 30-45 minutes, or until it has risen slightly above the rim of the pan.

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) while the dough is undergoing its second rise.

Bake:

Once the dough has risen, place it in the preheated oven.

Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

Cool:

Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 5 minutes.

Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes: The milk adds richness and softness to the bread, making it more tender.

If you want a slightly sweeter bread, you can increase the sugar to 2 tablespoons.

For a shiny crust, you can brush the top of the loaf with a little milk or melted butter before baking.

Enjoy your delicious, homemade bread! 🍞

Maybe I've just gotten more careful but it feels like the blatant lying in news has gotten worse since trump first said "Fake News" back in 2017.

I've been experimenting with bread a bit and trying to figure out how to add different ingredients to a simple bread recipe with varying degrees of failure.

Today instead of trying to look up an existing recipe or trying to find and apply "rules" for adding different things I went and asked deepseek. I had to ask it a couple times because I forgot things that I wanted in it.

Anyways it turned out really tasty and I plan to use it for further experimentation in the future.

The headline is absolutely false. What trump really said is that it is Ukraine's fault they aren't being included in negotiations.

At Mar-a-Lago, he also tried to reinvent the facts around Russia’s invasion three years ago, when Putin’s forces rolled across the border of an independent, sovereign democracy and redrew the map of Europe.

“Today I heard, ‘Oh well, we weren’t invited,’” the president said, referring to Ukraine’s complaints that it’s not been allowed to take part in the nascent peace process. “Well, you been there for three years. You should’ve ended it after three years. You should’ve never started it. You could’ve made a deal,” he said.

"Citing anonymous sources (They made it up) from the country’s Interior Ministry – the department which oversees law enforcement – Latvia-based independent Russian-language news outlet Meduza..."

"In 2014, Galina Timchenko was fired from her job as chief editor at Lenta.ru by oligarch Alexander Mamut, a supporter of Vladimir Putin, after she had interviewed Right Sector leader Dmytro Yarosh. She launched the new webpage Meduza on 25 October" -Wikipedia

So a banderite sympathiser is making unbacked accusations about Russia? That's not news.
