France needs to take back 'lady liberty'

[–] Gaja0@lemmy.zip 8 points 3 hours ago

"You're over reacting" really means "not my problem."

The constant bombardment of propganda across generations has given birth to an oblivious fascism, an artificially induced anti-intellectualism. We are forced to parse infinite amounts of information. Truth amalgamates across countless medium, and each person bears the responsibility of deriving a conclusion. The mind has proven time and time again that we are entirely capable of self deception and there is always those who look to exploit this. It's subconscious warfare.

in this morons mind he wants to exile anyone who doesn't kiss his ass and praise him like a child. That is what he won't say... yet.

They will be labeled "socialists" and/or "communists" and then I guess they'll be ripe for kidnapping and an extreme rendition to another country's concentration camp.

They will be labeled “socialists”

a vote for bart is a vote for anarchy

Did you know that Jaywalking is against the law in places?

Colorado for example

https://www.jacobyandmeyers.com/blog/fatal-pedestrian-crash-study/

Colorado has the highest proportion of fatal jaywalking accidents among all pedestrian-related accidents, with 56%. The second highest is Arizona with 45% in addition to ranking second for the highest total count, at 539 fatalities.

Not only are you committing a crime, but you are potentially traumatizing perfectly peaceful citizens on the roadways when you do it.

That is a morally bankrupt thing to do.

YOU'VE NOW BEEN DENATURALIZED AND DEPORTED.

YOU’VE NOW BEEN DENATURALIZED AND DEPORTED.

Well, they could use this kind of thing after they catch you at a rally against Taco, or after you speak out on social media, or are overheard by Taco's Nazi collaborators to say something unflattering about Taco.

[–] RampantParanoia2365@lemmy.world 2 points 3 hours ago

I kind of figured it was technically a misdemeanor everywhere.

[–] zib@lemmy.world 47 points 6 hours ago (2 children)

I really wish we would stop using the term "deporting" for situations like this. That is not what's happening here. "Rendition" and "exile" would be far more accurate.

[–] mormund@feddit.org 20 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Maybe it's because I'm German. But deporting someone sounds just as inhumane and cruel as the reality we live in.

[–] Glide@lemmy.ca 13 points 4 hours ago

Deportation infers that they didn't belong there to begin with. You can't deport a naturally born citizen, and we have another word for which is considered much more cruel: exile.

Might be a language barrier thing but the difference is pretty substantial imo, and I am tired of letting these chuds rework the narrative with their particular choice of words.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 5 points 3 hours ago

Amen to that. It's like calling those terrorists from J6 "rioters".

[–] WanderWisley@lemmy.world 2 points 3 hours ago

Don’t sugar coat it Donny it “will” be the job. And after that it will be whatever other minority group makes him feel uncomfortable about to get rid of till it’s just the “right” person, meaning the rich white person. The Insane Clown Posse had a memorable lyric in one of their old songs that went “ Fuck skin color everybody is blue then what would all the bigots do instead of your skin tone they would hate your weight and size.”

Conversations with conservatives two months ago: No, deport means they can send them wherever the hell they want!

Conversations with conservatives two months from now: ...

No, a stroke. Rendering him unable to speak and without fine motor control so he can't tweet or play golf.

[–] notfromhere@lemmy.ml 2 points 4 hours ago

They’ll wheel him to the autopen at that point if he’s not already employing it considering how he projected onto Biden for the autopen usage.

If there is a god, it will happen on live television.

[–] arrow74@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 hours ago

If there was a god none of this needed to happen

[–] whyNotSquirrel@sh.itjust.works 5 points 7 hours ago

and so he'd be able to see all people around taking advantage of the situation until he's useless and out of wealth

No, he would use everyone of those agonizing moments to take “revenge” on the populace

CEOs will be able to crowd source a replacement. Their financial position allows them the upper hand in a highly corrupt pay-to-play political system.

Society will thus go in the direction they choose, which will be to always have people like Trump around. People who are willing to use their reputation and efforts to steal from the poor and give to the wealthy.

Killing Trump is not just a good idea, but a necessary social control... and there still needs to be actions beyond that too.

[–] krigo666@lemmy.world 39 points 8 hours ago

You first, convicted felon.

[–] wizzor@sopuli.xyz 39 points 8 hours ago (4 children)

So to my understanding Trump is proposing deportation as a means of punishment for violent crimes?

Obviously problematic, especially considering the lack of due process present in some other deportations.

[–] Glide@lemmy.ca 5 points 4 hours ago

He is proposing exile. Deportation is to send someone back to their country of origin. They're already in America.

[–] salacious_coaster@infosec.pub 38 points 8 hours ago

SCOTUS already wrote him a blank check and demonstrated that defying the law has no consequences (for Trump). No one is going to save us.

[–] aramis87@fedia.io 18 points 7 hours ago

Remember all those videos of police screaming "Stop Resisting" at people who very clearly weren't resisting? Congratulations, you're now a violent criminal.

[–] redsand@lemmy.dbzer0.com 12 points 8 hours ago

He didn't specify violent. This is how they crush dissent

[–] Xanthrax@lemmy.world 21 points 8 hours ago* (last edited 8 hours ago)

What the fuck is he not going to say at this point. His mouth is a spewing fountain of fake-poor scented diarrhea. Populist my ass.

He's made so many incoherent open threats, he now sounds like someone who's drunk who's about to lose a fight.

[–] redwattlebird@lemmings.world 9 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

And where, pray tell, would he deport US citizens to?

[–] jonne@infosec.pub 9 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

There's already precedent for sending them to El Salvador. The courts don't seem able to stop them, so they'll do whatever they want.

[–] redwattlebird@lemmings.world 5 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

El Salvador will only take in men though, right? If that's the case, what'll happen to the women and children?

[–] jonne@infosec.pub 7 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

They've sent people to Sudan as well. They'll find some country that'll take money to take them in.

[–] redwattlebird@lemmings.world 9 points 6 hours ago

Damn. Human trafficking on a grand scale out in the open. Good luck to all Americans. Fight the good fight.
