Pretty sure there's a ~200 year cycle where Japan has to go fuck with their neighbors too. Kind of makes me wonder how many countries have a periodicy to their go fuck with the neighbors timing.
I think our monkey brains need to acquire, and maybe various cultures can contend with it at different rates.
