Our car companies are dead corps walking. Ice vehicles will end up looking like horse and buggies. Sure they're a cool hobby toy, but they cost so much more, why would you want one?

It's morally wrong to make them feel the need to hide. What someone decides to do with their free speech is up to them.

You can license the output of a likeness powered by AI.

More likely he'd hire someone to hire someone to hire some upset Iranians and give them a few RPGs. There's huge gaps in security because the orange turd spends his weekends stinking up golf courses that are essentially impossible to secure.

AI deepfakes are all over the place right now. Or did you think the video of Trump being a rock star was real?

Stonks go up, your fridge gets more empty, gas gets more expensive.

You know that quiet pause a dog takes before trying to bite your face off? The US keeps taking that pause. At some point a twig is going break during that pause, and we're going to have a right mess on our hands.

Sure would be a shame if the next starship landed on mara lago...

Too bad the supreme court put the dagger in artists backs for AI already. It would have been great if a company would license an artists source material to make a set of variations for a limited venue. Like a company licensing a voice actor's samples, then they get to use AI to make those characters say whatever they want, in that one movie, or that one game, based on the license.

As it is now, we're going to end up with Spruce Lee fighting Hackie Chan movies, and none of the actors or their estates will get to say shit about it.

Not really because the state cops wouldn't be interfering or stopping federal enforcement. Just illegal tactics and methods. If an FBI agent murders someone, they're going to get arrested for murder, even if they were arresting someone at the time. Having an overriding authority, doesn't make them immune to the law.

If you can't reach the plugs, most likely the air around them is recycling through that space getting hotter. Put a box fan over there and see if your temps improve.

Where your computer is located is too awkward to open, and it's overheating... you do know that's likely related?

Just wondering if anyone has experience with pouring aluminum or copper on their pottery? We've done melts with glass, but getting ready to try aluminum, and maybe copper if that works out.

WASHINGTON, Feb 3 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Monday ordering the creation of a sovereign wealth fund within the next year, saying it could potentially buy the short video app TikTok. Trump offered little in the way of detail and it was unclear how such a wealth fund would work. Typically such funds rely on a country's budget surplus to make investments, but the U.S. operates at a deficit. Its creation also would likely require approval from Congress.

About to be in the market for a new circular saw, just looking for the typical 7.25 blade saw. One thing that has constantly bothered me though is the depth adjustment. Every saw I've ever had used a flip lever on a nut in the back, and that's always been the point of failure. They slip, break, seize or otherwise fail first before anything else on the saw. And it's literally the only setting on a saw that i ever touch beyond changing blades.

So what brand has a reliable depth adjustment?

Saw a post mentioning an old Scottish gentleman that had saved a bottle of whiskey to drink the day Margaret Thatcher died. And I'm quite sure he enjoyed the drink.

So my question to the community, what's the best drink for the day any major politician finally kicks the bucket? Should it be your own favorite spirit, or something to denote the character, and vitriol, of the deceased? Something sweet to enjoy the day, or harsh to remember the bitterness of their character?

I'm trying to plan a shelf for my dining room. Each bottle labeled for who they're waiting for.
