For all parking disasters, not just simple bad parking (for that see yplac.co.uk).

Also includes "you can't park there, sir" for the police equivalent.

LOL apparently I'm old and can't figure out how to post an image.

Someone graffitied it? Did it just stay there?

I think that's actually the robotaxi "logo". I've seen other promo pictures that say robotaxi on the front door

Elon actually can't avoid making the absolute most cringe choice with anything, can he.

It might be a feature to keep the car from being vandalized. Someone sees the car parked in an intersection and thinks “someone should scratch a penis into that a**hole’s car for parking there, oh looks like someone did already! Noize!” And there! Asset protected (until it drives itself into the wall while on FSD).

It says robotaxi but all cool and shit because Tesla is cool and shit

I’m laughing at the fact that they have “Robotaxi” scrawled on the side in the same atrocious, psychotic lettering as “Cybertruck”.

If this is the only incident within 24 hours of a limited rollout, I guess it's going better than expected.

Still fucking atrocious overall, but I guess we'll have to wait for the real incidents to happen. Hopefully no bystanders suffer from it.

LOL if only, watch this: https://fuelarc.com/cars/tesla-robotaxi-freaks-out-and-drives-into-oncoming-traffic-on-first-day/

There's only about 10 of them on the road, too. They're fucking up left and right.

Even taking bribes and other corruption into account, these things are such a blatant safety hazard that I’m surprised they’re allowed on the road.

Hah, that's more like what I expected. Looks like it was trying to go straight in a left only lame and cut someone off as well as crossing the double yellow. A competent evil company would've at least meticulously mapped out the city to make for a good showing at launch, but it looks like elons ego is still king.

Here's hoping nobody's on the sidewalk when one of these decides to kamikaze into a building.

Robotaxi except there's a dude in the drivers seat

Edit: lmao apparently in the passengers seat

front passenger seat has no control pedals. Which raises the question… what are they even doing there?

I figured they’d be hovering their hand over the Park button (which acts as an e-brake and brings the Tesla to a rapid halt if held down), ready to do the EV equivalent of a fire drill.

Not so. The Tesla safety operators appear to always have their thumb on the “Open Door” button of their door, which is sort of weird to see. It’s like every safety operator is getting ready to say the Irish goodbye to their passengers at any given moment.

Turns out, Full Self Driving disengages if you open the door. So that is probably being used as a janky, factory-standard kill switch for the autonomous driving system that causes the vehicle to come to controlled stop.

i-cant

"The tesla employee left the car 1 second before the crash, and self-driving de-activated 0.1s before the crash. Therefore, it was the back-seat passenger's fault."

No one should use these to go to a random address that might be on a highway or at the corner of these two busy streets and then accidentally forget to close the door. Definitely no one should do such a thing.
