So grizzlies get worse, except in the distant future and magic don't get anything that will take them to the next level. Grizz werent going anywhere with this core but appear to have thrown in the towel as they should have, but still looking waaaaay out now. Lose/lose.
Overpay but I kinda get what the Magic are doing. Outside shooting and playmaking were their biggest needs. This addresses more of the former than the latter. They also don't sacrifice their defensive identity. They're probably a top 5 team in the east and will need an upgrade at PG to jump into the top 3 tier.
Overpay for Bane
Wow. 4??
I feel like I don't have a grasp on trade value anymore.
So they're saying 1 pick was to take KCP's salary dump. So it's essentially 3 picks and 1 pick swap plus Cole. Which is still a lot.
Are draft picks just not valuable anymore? I wouldn’t give up 4 first round picks for anyone but an established superstar.
This trade will cook the Thunder next year! /s
