I've been sitting down for hours. I really want to stand up and mind my own fucking business.

Sone of us got ants in our pants and gotta move
You ever travel alone with just a backpack, and jump up and run to the front before the light turns off?
Me neither, I'll wait till the people behind me are all off playing my video games for a few more moments.
It's healthy to move
Stretching
My legs hurt
If I need to stand in this situation, I don't open the bin, and I don't skip the line. Just stand; everyone else in your row can relax their elbows a bit.
However, there are people who need to make connections, and not everyone gives themselves a lot of time to cross the airport, hit the head, and grab some food on the way. There are definitely asshole travelers, but I try to give my fellow sufferers a benefit of a doubt.
The common enemy are the airlines; don't let them divide us.
And my knees
My neck, my back…
My bussy and my crack
This. I know I'm not going anywhere, I just want to stand for the next ten minutes.
This is me sometimes
I'm probably standing up because I've been sitting down for hours—I'm quite tall and broad, so even in the extra legroom seats, I'm usually at some level of discomfort.
Also I've often got a load of shit to put back in my bag, nice to get that done before I start moving. Plus, I always get the aisle seat, so I'm getting out of the way for others that want to do the same.
My redditor in christ, what's the deal with airplane food?
My sibling in christ we are on lemmy, not r*ddit
I'm aware, then why is everyone copying reddit speech and comments and even subreddits to the dot? Standing up in airplane humor in 2025?
It's so that they can get ahead of the three people sitting in the seats next to them and then proceed to walk at snails pace to border control and bagged reclaim. I stay seated and conserve my energy to power walk past them all. Mwahahahahaha!
Hurry up and wait!!
I sat in the aisle seat and I have no luggage in the overhead compartment so I am getting my place in line in front of the people who have to go back six rows to get their luggage because they're too cheap to check their shit.
Getting out via the back, my inexperienced sister in flight.
Yeah except when most of the flights only let you go out through the front.
I fly twice a month, in a lovely 737, always get out from the back.
Never been allowed to disembark from the rear hatch even if there was one. The umbilical is always attached to the front.
SXM, front and back, down the stairs and onto a bus to the terminal.
Stairs for us plebs, front and back
I cannot remember the last time I exited through the back. I have not flown as much but for the last 10 years about 4-6 flights per year and I think I went out the back maybe once in Greece. But I am not sure might just be misremebering.
Was first one out last time, second one time before, all via the back. All within Europe
Lucky you. Maybe that's more common if you fly smaller airports and planes and exit via the stairs and not the tinnel thingie.
This all depends on the slot of the plane. If it's directly connected to the terminal, you can exit from the front only. If it's free standing and you need to walk over the tarmac or take a bus to the terminal, you can disembark from the rear because then they will open the rear exit as well. Ironically this means that with budget flights you disembark faster because they don't tend to pay for the premium slots that are directly at a terminal.
The type of plane, whether it's a 737 or A320 or whatever, rarely matters.
Depends who you fly with and from which airport.
