Disbanding the group, which was responsible for rooting out corruption in Congress and fraud across government agencies, appears at odds with a major priority of the Trump administration.

Time to get violent.

Given their actions day in and day out, protests aren’t working, appealing to logic or humanity aren’t working, hell even just trying to get them to speak in Congress isn’t working. Seems like at this point the only thing that will work is Chinese corruption justice - hopefully there are some heroes out there to save us all.

In my opinion there are too many collaborators that would allow things to scrape by.

Pathetic. We, the people, have the power. Its why Republicans are speedrunning fascism before the rest of dumb af America wakes up.

How so? The obvious objective of this admin so far has been to dismantle any and all oversight so they can do all the crimes and rob us blind.

It's everything DOGE pretends to be.

[–] WatDabney@fedia.io 43 points 10 hours ago

It appears at odds wirh a claimed priority of the Trump administration, but that's easily explained by the fact that Trump is easily the most overtly corrupt piece of shit to hold the office in modern history and a compulsive liar.

The bludgeoningly obvious reality is that he's dismantling that and every other agency that might stand in the way of his corruption and duplicity because he's a greedy, questing, self-serving piece of shit with no morals, no integrity, no principles and no honor, and any noise he might make about fighting corruption is 100% lies.

In fairness, no group looking for corruption needs to be elite any longer.

[–] Neverclear@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 8 hours ago

Integrity is so... basic.

First dismantle the corruption group

Then dismantle the fbi

Where have we seen that?

[–] AcidicBasicGlitch@lemm.ee 6 points 9 hours ago

Well of course they did. What better way to show you're above the law than to arrest judges and remove the people that exist to investigate your corruption?

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 6 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

“We have investigated ourselves-“

“You’re fired.”

“Plug up the drains on the swamp” is a lame slogan, no wonder they didn’t advertise it this time around

Tbf it seems like these guys haven't been doing their jobs considering a corrupt politician has never been punished in the US in my lifetime.

But if Trump wanted them fired they must have been doing something

[–] MiyamotoKnows@lemmy.world 10 points 7 hours ago

Huh? Senator Menendez just got sentenced to 11 years in prison. Congressman Santos just got 7 years in prison. Corrupt politicians get busted and sentenced all the time friend. 👍

[–] cabron_offsets@lemmy.world 5 points 7 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago) (1 children)

How young are you? You don’t remember Menendez from like a month ago? hastert or any other republican kiddie diddlers? Blago? Or that really flamboyant cunt from NY who just got sentenced?

[–] SoftestSapphic@lemmy.world 1 points 5 hours ago* (last edited 5 hours ago)

Oh yeah Santos

I guess i was fixated on almost every single member of congress breaking our country so their stocks go up.
