3. No bots, spam or self-promotion.

4. Post titles should be the same as the article used as source.
Posts which titles don’t match the source won’t be removed, but the autoMod will notify you, and if your title misrepresents the original article, the post will be deleted. If the site changed their headline, the bot might still contact you, just ignore it, we won’t delete your post.
5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials or celebrity gossip is allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
7. No duplicate posts.
If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

40% identify as conservative, 40% as moderate, and 20% (25 in a good year) identity as liberal.
Like it or not, your leftist agenda can only be achieved by working with those you'd rather not. Refusing to do so and not formulating a strategy to get them onboard with your agenda is detrimental to every goal you have.
Hell most 'liberals' i know don't even know what political theory matches their alignment. I wholly doubt that 20% polled are completely okay with this court giving up.. critique of liberal institutions and representatives is a completely different matter than trying to talk down to people who may not fully understand or comprehend even their own positions, even if well intentioned.
The elder liberals I talk with are not filled in, still obtaining most of their knowledge of events through corporate media. That isn't their fault, but that won't keep me from vehemently criticizing, for example, liberal MSNBC and their coverage over say a particular conflict in the middle east. Now when they do coverage of Trump, again i will be noting their passiveness and complicity, even when agreeing with their notions. Those disagreements from a fundamentally human point (say war not generally being a good thing) are usually something liberal individuals completely agree with, but do not have an alternative narrative to fall to once they start taking apart and questioning what they've been told, therefore they're less likely to begin with.
The liberals of our representatives, like Chuck Schumer, have absolutely no excuse to turn their back on their constituents, but they have an interest in 'business as usual'. We should not hold back in our push to remove such spineless, uncaring, nihilistic representatives as soon as possible. And frankly, if you haven't at the bare minimum written to your representatives, i don't want to hear what your idea of a strategy is.
Why would any of those people ever help with my leftist agenda? I'm not going to work with fascists or other genocide-enjoyers just to have someone to work with. I'm just hoping that well meaning libs will eventually get tired of having the rug pulled out from under them by the people they elect.
Hope is not a strategy. If someone came to you looking for a business loan and they said 'we are going to hope people get tired of drinking soda which is terrible for them and switch over to our carrot juice' - would you give them the loan?
Failing the same way over and over again isn't a strategy either.
Then change your approach. Instead of trying to black pill every leftist on lemmy like you have been - go post in liberal or moderate social media circles and try to hone your message into something that is effective.
This is my changed approach. I used to do what you're suggesting and it didn't get anywhere either. It just left me frustrated and worn down. Nowadays I put my actual effort into organizing on the ground in my area. Anything I do online is for my own satisfaction.

It was a civil suit, not criminal charges. And the suit has been brought and argued, and appealed once, this was another appeal that was declined.
Edit: actually it wasn't. The article says they "declined to take the case as an original action", probably because it belonged in the lower courts first, then appealed to the higher court.
That’s sorta my point. Fine that they wanted to block the payment from ever occurring. It still seems like a valid criminal case.
They can't do anything until it affects the outcome of the election so once the nazi judge is on the bench they will take the case and find him not in violation of the constitution because the people decided
