Could we not use that money at home? The palastine government could have ended the war a year ago if they returned their hostages.

If we were going to support abroad Ukraine never attacked Russia. I just don't like supporting terrorists. Hamas is a recognized terrorist group in Canada, no?

Edit: just checked yeah recognized as terrorists since 2002. I refuse to support them as much as I would isis or any other group of scumbags.

Sorry I missed where it says the money is going to Hamas?

If you're implying their governments are actually democratically elected terrorist organizations, neither territory has held an election in over 15 years.

Glad that Canada is choosing to be on the right side of history with this move, and with its support for Ukraine.

They did elect them when Canada has already declared them a terrorist organization prior and let's not forget their kill all jew platform. They knew what they were getting. Also let's not pretend Hamas wasn't popular right up until they entered the find out phase.

So with the palastine un leg being outed as a being full of Hamas members and the country ran by a terrorist organization what hand are we going to give the cash to?

I think you're a bit naive if you think the fighting would stop once the hostages are returned. Israel has been looking for an excuse to invade an annex the territory and the hostages were the perfect one. If they were returned they would simply come up with an excuse to continue.

You Zionists are always trying to push this idea that Israel is just defending themselves, meanwhile Israel itself is saying the genocide will continue and the murder is the point. This war was started decades ago when European colonists established Israel and ethnically cleansed the land it occupies, and it won't stop until every Arab in Palestine is dead, or until Israel is abolished.

I bet you'll do you pathetic best to try and argue the point, but considering that the Israeli military just did a press release where they stated their intention to kill any Palestinian that doesn't flee to another country, there isn't anything you can say that will justify Israel's actions. Israel is a right-wing fascist state no different than the Third Reich, and you're just a collaborator who supports their hatred of Arabs.

Sure isreal may be part to blame but let's not pretend palastine is innocent. Two assholes can exist at once and if Hamas wanted this war would have been over forever ago it's by the palastine will it's still going on. Heck most isreal citizens want it over.

If another country attacked and kidnapped Canadians I would 100% hope our government does whatever it takes to get people back home safe.

BTW Jews lived in the area for a thousand years yet palastine was formed in 1988? It's unfortunate you don't think they have a right to exist.

Oh and one thing that really annoys me is how we have palastinians harassing and attacking jews in Canada. So no, I don't want them to run anywhere. Look what happened to Egypt or Lebanon. I just want them to elect respectable leaders.
