Israeli authorities routinely kidnap Palestinian civilians and convict them through kangaroo military courts and disappear them in prisons run by a "Jewish Power" extremist.

This isn't a "two assholes" situation. One party in the conflict has the other under brutal occupation and apartheid, and is in the process of ethnically cleansing and genociding it. Calling it a "two assholes" situation is ignoring that dynamic. Sort of like saying the Apartheid regime in South Africa and the ANC are somehow on equal moral footing. Bull Shit.

Jews lived in the area for millennia. So did non-jews (like, read the Torah, bro). Christians and Muslims have lived there since Christianity and Islam became religions respectively. Why should Jews get exclusive national determination in that bit of land? Who has claim? No one has claim. All have claim.

BTW Jews lived in the area for a thousand years yet palastine was formed in 1988? It’s unfortunate you don’t think they have a right to exist.

This comment is dumb for two separate but equally stupid reasons, which I shall detail henceforth.

First of all, yes, Jews have resided in Palestine for a long time. But Palestine has existed for even longer. The first mention of the region was in the Histories of Herodotus, written in the 5th century BCE. Judaism was invented in the 6th century BCE, making the region known as Palestine possibly only slightly younger than both Jews and Christians. We don't know for sure, it could have been called Palestine for hundreds of years before that, and nobody who knew how to read wrote it down. Furthermore, Palestine is a region, not a country. Israel, on the other hand, is a country, and it was established by the British shortly after WW2 as a place to dump Europeans who practiced Judaism.

Second, I don't want Jews to exist because I think Israel shouldn't be allowed to genocide Arabs? What kind of bullshit is that? It's antisemitic for you to equate Israel with Jews, because that's blaming all Jews for the actions of Israel, which is a nation and does not speak for Jews. It's like saying Christians are responsible for the evil shit the United States has done, and if you criticize the US, then you hate Christians. See how stupid that sounds?

Oh and one thing that really annoys me is how we have palastinians harassing and attacking jews in Canada.

If we're going to pull that card, then let's talk about Jewish people harassing Christians in Israel. Or Christians harassing literally everyone else in literally every country they're in. Or whatever religion you practice harassing people.

There's extremists in every religion, as religion itself is the root cause of nearly all the evil that has ever been perpetrated. An ideal world would be one without such ridiculous notions as divinity and the supreme rights of certain groups over others for no other reason than the particular sky fairy they believe in. There are no "religions of peace", they're all barbaric and filled with hateful people who use dogma to oppress those who aren't like them.
