My brother made an interesting point. He did well with Tesla, selling EV to basically the left. Then he abruptly went full anti left, anti woke, essentially attacking his own customers. Like the amount of disconnect is unreal.

Well yeah, USA being able to run such a huge deficit was definitely related to countries around the world trusting/respecting/fearing them. So now that that's gone, bankruptcy is indeed on the table.

I think it's a mistake to attribute all this to drug use. For one, it further demonizes drug use, and second, it takes blame off his shoulders when he has proven plenty enough times that he's a fully hateful, narcissistic pos all on his own.
