Apparemment oui c'est une simple arnaque. La personne à l'autre bout a dit "je n'ai jamais reçu votre email" et l'autre personne a renvoyé l'argent une 2eme fois...

Mais comment? J'envoi/reçois des virement interac, si quelqu'un intercepte l'email interac, comment il fait pour le forwarder dans un autre compte? et me semble interac et les banques savent parfaitement le numéro du compte où l'argent est déposé, non?

Not surprised by SC, as a Canadian I had one accident in 40 years of driving, it was in SC, caused by a 17yo girl driving an old suburban or something.

No of course they are not really deleted, just a flag in their SQL database or something, but it's still annoying...

After 13 years, I had quit reddit 1st June 2023. At the time I joined beehaw (lemmy.world didn't exist) and used the redact utility to delete all my posts/comments (we could at the time delete instead of mass editing.

I lurk sometimes some niche communities or go on reddit from google search, I never comment or upvote. I sometimes click on my user to see there was no comments/saved/etc.

Yesterday, randomly, I clicked on my username and saw all my 2023 and less post, 13 years of comments, I was like WTF, after 2 years, reddit decided to take an old backup or something and undelete all my comments!!!

As now redact only do mass editing and pretty slowly, I used something else, https://github.com/Jelly-Pudding/ereddicator/tree/main, followed instructions, it deleted ~3600 comments in less than 2 hours.

I'll monitor from time to time if reddit keep undeleting them, to feed their AI...

1990, so 35 years ago, there was no WWW, we had IRC, Gopher, Usenet. It was mainly students/universities and a couple of companies.

Try a mini PC, like a beelink, some have very good eGPU, they are a marvel of engineering, a small PC 5"x4" more powerful than full ATX tower

No stupid question... it seems Trump is ready to invade (military) Panama and Greenland (red white blueland), so even if with Canada he always talk about economic war and annexing Canada blablabla...

What would happen if USA invades Canada? What would be the reaction of the Canada King (Charles III is the king of Canada)? The Commonwealth? NATO?

Can you believe that, it's incredible... there's thousands and thousands empty condos in Montréal, a lot are new, and they continue to build them, sometimes even in high rising towers and all. A lot of them are illegal airbnb too.

Why they cannot sell them? They are small, expensive, and sometimes badly placed (no metro, no parking, bad area, place without services around, etc).

Je me suis inscrit sur le site Guichet d'accès à un médecin de famille le 2 octobre 2017. Ça disait le temps d'attente moyen est de 357 jours.

Hier j'ai reçu une lettre m'assignant un médecin de famille, il s'est écoulé 2583 jours soit 7 ans et 26 jours.

Pas mal :)

Je cherchais un clavier type scissors silencieux en Français Canadien, c'est rare comme d'la marde de pape, j'en ai trouvé 2, le Dell KB900, et le Logitech MX Keys qui semble assez nouveau.

Si quelqu'un en a un, comment est le rétro-éclairage? le clavier semble avoir sur les touches les dénominations CA_FR et les CMS, (et Mac aussi pour les touches de contrôle). Qu'est-ce qui s'allume là dedans?
