Rupublicans are spineless. Their ancestors would be devastated to see how easily Russia was able to destroy US institutions that have stood for generations. All while yelling " make America great again".
I agree , the US fans started booing and finally when the Canadian fans singing along started being louder than the boos she started doing all sorts of weird pitch stuff and drawing out words like I've never heard before. Would have been way more powerful to let the crowd get into singing it with her drowning out the boos in the other countries stadium.
The rest of the world doesn't live in the American misinformation bubble....
We just cancelled our trip to Disney, which is sad, but I see there are some other locations in Tokyo or Paris, so might look at going there for a middle ground.

Knee deep in a civil war is where America should be right now, but it seems the media has done a good job of keeping people distracted and uninformed while the coup takes place. At best this is irreversible generational damage, and at worst the end of the American empire.
