Context: Every part of this false. Even the base pretense is false. But Trump espouses it to be true so the red hat cult also believe it.
I'm more currious how much of the shit that comes out of his mouth that trump personally believes. I mean he is a senile narcissist, so I can imagine him believing some pretty stupid shit... but at the same time... he could just outright lie and know his base will defend it anyway.
When they react well, it becomes the new truth, because they liked the lie. He doesn't ever remember that it was a lie, because he doesn't think.
