Be cool to each other. We'll welcome most occult themes, it's okay if you stray from witchcraft a bit.

No advertising. No trolling. No hate. Violaters will be removed unceremoniously.

We love art credits when possible.

Excuse me: YES!

I used to write my deepest hurts on rocks, then hurl them off cliffs into the great lakes.

As long as it doesn't hurt others, heal how you need to.

Apparently Romans used to do something similar in Bath. They would write prayers on lead sheets and throw them into a spring. Some of those prayers survived, which is how we now know how bitchy rich Roman women could be!

Is that why I found a rock on a beach engraved with the word "cock"?

I mean if you can write stuff down on paper and then discard it to reach some kind of catharsis...

If it makes you feel better, sure.

That's 100% Headology.

First, you vent your pain and rage on the hex objects. Then, instead of fearing and avoiding them, you now face them, looking for the cracks. When they have a setback you know it's working.

If they don't, you can always get another jar for a booster dose.

Meanwhile, instead of circling the drain of despair, you have freed up some braincells for advancing positive aspects of your own life.

That's why you're seeing a therapist.

[–] boredtortoise@lemm.ee 10 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I'd like details of that process

Coffin nails, iirc.

[–] boredtortoise@lemm.ee 2 points 3 days ago

Sure why not, also what does each ingredient do, meaning of the step order etc

Cue the video of that woman repeatedly stabbing the Kansas City Chiefs voodoo doll. Shit seems to work y'all. God bless her.

Pipe bombs are more effective than spell jars at hurting those who wronged you (j/k of course)
