You're saying we won't have to wait 2-3 years between each season? And they aren't going to split the season into parts? Unheard of in the streaming era.

Technically they did split season 2.

For real! Season 2 with 7 episodes was quite short!

Yeah the creator decided to split it because it was a good point to stop at episode 7. If I recall correctly it gave them more time to finish up the second half while also finally releasing something. I might be wrong in those exact details but I do know the creator split it. They filmed both "seasons" at the same time.

I was totally thrown off by the ending of S2. I’m hoping S3 is the end of the story. I really don’t want this to drag on for too many seasons because there’s a ton of room for the story to go off the rails in the pursuit of more seasons.

Unpopular opinionHorrible show that grabs your attention with TikTok/casino techniques and no substance. Even the director said this show is just a cash grab. It's a very long Mr.Beast video.

The first season was an excellent and incisive critique of capitalism.

The second season is a perfect example of capitalism subsuming all criticism into itself, and by extension both validating and undermining said criticism.

In a sense, haven't we kinda did?

2021's 1st season was far from 2024's 2nd season.

And the 2nd season can argued as a split of part 1 away from part 2.

In this case, i'd argue it wasn't much anything special.
