Weezer, but good.
now THIS is art
Now I will listen to brat but only the Beanis remix
It's good but "How I'm Feeling Now" is better if you want to check out Charli's best works
green eggs and ham ass post
Infamousblt I am
But have you heard Not Like Us?
(Euphoria was the best song in the Drake diss saga and it's not even close, but Not Like Us is the one dems played to death)
Just cause the libs taint trends in music and pop culture like this doesn't mean it's bad. That said, I liked the first song on Brat, but the rest of the album wasn't my thing.
Just cause the libs taint trends in music and pop culture like this doesn't mean it's bad
tbf the artist also tainted it with that association.
still doesn't make it bad. if you're gonna say all liberal music is bad, then you're gonna have a hard time finding music to listen to.
I'm not talking about the work itself, I mean that psychologically the association was pushed by the artist, who is popularly regarded as the main authority on a piece, saying that "candidate embodies the spirit of my album". I'm speaking on the level of rhetoric here.
That said, it's extremely easy to find music from people who don't fellate reactionaries like that, even if they're still liberals or whatever.
i honestly think a lot of the backlash against Brat is rooted in sexism tbh (not accusing OP or you of that, i get we're shitposting here)
No idea what is that. Is that the meme were theres a mountain dew green background and some text saying "brat"?
I think so but I don't know
brat did nothing wrong
brat's got some bangers, so does Brat and it's completely different but also still brat
is this like a reverse 'sportsball' post?
Basically yes
Me neither and I intend never to
Where did it even come from?
I don't even know if it's a song or an album or both I just know it's music and I'm not gonna hear it
This thread made me feel like I have my finger on the pulse of youth culture, thank you
hot damn, everyone other than me is a geezer wtf
I think we had a struggle session about Radiohead once, so that checks out.
haven't heard it but Kamala's association with it means that if I ever do listen to it, it will sound like Palestinian children screaming
Oh, it's a song. I see. I thought it was just a random slang term people adopted, but of course it is yet another carefully cultivated bit of "culture" pushed by suits to sell something.
It's unironically good
Most pop music actually is good despite people being silly about it.
I also want to say I love music, so many genres and the skill involved even in the music I don't like. I'm sure Charli xcx put a ton of skill and passion into brat and that's great and I fully recognize that but I still won't
typing "brat" into the emoji picker gives
Every day I feel further and further out of touch with whatever the fuck is going on online. I had to look it up to even see wtf it is and I still don’t get it.
I won't even do that I'm just not gonna
sorry you're missing out one of the best albums of the year. weird that you'd make this post tho
It sounds like lime green
rhymes with barf
Not as good as How Im Feeling Now, but still better than most music coming out this year
Yeah the kopmala tweet screenshot (which I assume is real because it gets a lot of play online) means I'm not interested. I've heard Sophie in Beat Saber, at least it's not anime music, so I imagine it's in that vein.
I will listen to anime music I will not listen to brat
Neither have I. I’ve only seen it on here lol
All her albums rock, Ive been a big fan since 2015. Signed by, me a straight dude
It's fine. I think if you want pop music, Miley Cyrus's most recent record is more interesting. And if you want fucked up pop music, 100 gecs is more interesting. But it's fine.
Are brats vegan?
not typically, but supposedly the franks taste alright
