Given my experience with liberals (I suppose just Americans in general), that's gonna be a big 
from me
What they mean is 20 years from now someone will write a twitter thread claiming that ~~ralph nader~~ jill stein was responsible for the $US_MILITARY_ATROCITY of 2026 then be dogpiled by people calling them an idiot because every democrat in the house & senate voted for it. I am quaking in my boots thinking of the reckoning that I will experience on that day.

It's funny cause hexbear was one of the og instances along with like lemmy.ml and the contributors here do a lot of heavy lifting for the lemmy project as a whole lol like I think hexbear devs made pinning threads for lemmy possible
Pinning a post globally was something I upstreamed, IIRC. Also Emojis and Taglines
Hard to believe there was a time before having a thousand custom emotes. I was there in the first week and barely remember anything but the random struggle sessions

Lemmy.world is the biggest instance, and given it being an anti-Marxist instance designed to replicate Reddit, it has the most turbo-radlibs that couldn't stay on Reddit through the API crisis. Zionism, transphobia, racism, all manner of the worst takes possible. The smuggest people on the Fediverse, and the rudest.
Sh.itjust.works is 50/50 lib/fascist, NCD and MeanwhileOnGrad push the fascism.
Lemmy.ca is just landlords.
Lemm.ee is more of a tool than an instance.
Lemmy.ml is constantly a struggle session, .worlders outnumber communists and anarchists but the mods side with the communists, so it's constantly a struggle.
Grad is grad, doing fine it seems.
Dbzer0 still pretends to be okay with Marxists, but they can't support AES. Weird spot, doing okayish.
Solarpunk is small but has your typical anti-AES anarchist slant, some users are more reasonable than others, which is just a symptom of putting aesthetic over politics.

Stalking your ml profile is a window into the madness of the lemmyverse. I don't know how you can keep arguing with libs like that.
It's an outlet to get out frustration, honestly, though sometimes it leaves me more frustrated. I've stated before, Hexbear is by far the more enjoyable instance for me, but I get satisfaction out of calling genocidal libs out or proving some ultraleft "Marxist" wrong about their understanding of Marxism.

I've spoken with a few users, carefully pointing out how by being anti-Marxist but not also being anti-liberal, and further having no links to theory of any sort beyond aesthetic choices, opens them up to opportunism. They seemed to vaguely accept it, hope it can get through to them.

See, it's entirely self-driven and egotistical, I get grim satisfaction from asserting my knowledge of theory against the smug liberals. It isn't healthy, nor is it out of any grander vision, I still haven't picked a party to join yet. It's just me being a debatebro, albeit less of one than I used to be on Reddit.
I appreciate the sentiment, I just think my energy would be more productive elsewhere.

Someone from reddit.world accused me of being a right-wing troll and it started a dog pile session where they got torn apart by a dozen other commenters for being a moron. It was actually really affirming that my neurotic screaming into the void has been acknowledged and accepted.

Lemmyworld is the biggest right wing instace and that kinda ruins the other instances with their libs and fash users, they also working in some java alternative to lemmy but they have zero progress on that
