Beer is interesting because it's got this other drug in it, hordenine, a stimulant

I like plain vodka and a full glass of water between each shot. Pretty much zero hangover.

This, except I alternate water with zero sugar electrolyte beverage (whichever was cheapest at the time I re-upped, most are basically the same).

I didn’t know about the stimulant in beer, that’s fascinating
