descriptivism = good, correct

prescriptivism = bad, the opposite of correct

I agree your statement isn't descriptivist, it's prescriptivist, which is why it's not correct. Hope that clears things up.

My statement wasn’t prescriptivist. It was descriptivist, I just wrote wrong
