Upvotes downvotes maybe? Not showing the total amount of "points" you've gotten?

we already don't do downvotes, nor does lemmy have account-wide karma. I guess we could stop showing the upbear count of posts and comments. IMO the point is the ordering on the page not the actual number.

I've never been someone to be particularly motivated by upbear numbers, so I don't think it's a big deal, but maybe it would be good for some people, and I don't really give a shit if we drop them. The only thing I use them for is a sort of crude "read/seen" indicator. If someone has upvoted then at least one person has read my post/comment
