Oh absolutely, I was only talking in reference to the intent of Chinese netizens. Redditors and their ilk never forego an opportunity to be racist.

Tigger in Mandarin is 跳跳虎 Mandarin tiaotiao hu Cantonese tiutiu fu (?) literally jump jump tiger, or bouncy tiger. I cannot see any way that the name could have racist associations in Mandarin, unsure about Cantonese. Everything in that regard re. Tigger and name association is from English speakers.
