When I saw that thread last night, I was expecting the links to the "offenses" to be wild. But then it was just bathroom humor, and a singular call to execute landlords, which I found hilarious.
I just do not understand the lack of humor of a lot of people, on these instances. You'd swear their lives are devoid of happiness.
Guaranteed most of them have some interesting opinions on the indigenous people of Canada and how they ended up in their current situation.
Most of them are starlight tourguides.
A lot of those are pretexts for defederating I think
What rubs them the wrong way is our position on various issues (despite them being far more deeply argued and sourced than the paltry answers we usually get)
Also, admittedly and to a lesser degree, likely the fact we're numerous and terminally online so anytime something dunkable is posted even the small subset of online hexbear users that see it appear on their feed and interact must look like an army to them
They defederated us for being perfect posters

They hate Trump because he dismisses them and posts better than them, not because the valid reasons. They hate us for the same reason
Guilty. I will happily reply to every single comment in a thread without even really thinking about it. People think I'm stalking them and it's like "nah, I've just made twenty comments in every single post that was posted today, that's all".

The Maoist uprising against the landlords was the largest and most comprehensive proletarian revolution in history, and led to almost totally-equal redistribution of land among the peasantry.
liberal ideology is built on the foundation that the existence of private property is natural, sacrosanct, and generally an essential feature of a good society, and that any attempt to challenge that for whatever reason will fail and must be condemned
they also purposefully obscure and ignore the distinction between personal property (held for use) and private property (held for profit)
In my experience, it has genuinely not occurred to most liberals that those are different things, but then when presented with the distinction they pretend not to have heard it.
My experience is that liberals, upon hearing the difference, will start conflating the two. Like they'll say their house is both personal and private, since they intend to use it as an investment.
