If you wonder why I'm so fucking tired of capeshit movies, in particular reboots, one of the earliest modern capeshit movies was the Spider-Man one that had a trailer where a bad guy helicopter was caught in a web between the WTC towers. It had to be edited out as soon as P A T R I O T D A Y happened. no-oil

That is how old and tiresome capeshit is to me.

lmao I remember that. Spider Man 2 kind of went out of its way to overcompensate, with the shot of Spidey running with a big American flag behind him.

Culture at that time was just so strange. they put out a comic where Dr Doom was at the wreckage of the towers crying over it, as if he hadn't literally done a hundred worse things in those comics.

Doctor Doom would surely never kill innocents. Admittedly I'm not exactly a big superhero guy, but that sounds like something a comic book dictator would do.

Deus Ex didn't have the Twin Towers in New York due to something about processing power or graphics demand. Remains funny to this day.
