Absolutely not a bad thing. My issue is with giving oxygen to this obvious attempt at stoking culture war. Some shitty ad for some shitty clothing brand will never be as harmful as the army of psychos that Peter Thiel has running around and this kind of thing is literally meant to distract from the harm that they're doing.

I think you are understimating humans ability to care about more than one thing at the same time. Also the issue with this ad is that besides the fact that is trying to normalize eugenics, it also set a new precedent for ads to start talking about genes like the Dunkin Donuts one. It was also defended by the white house itself which is trying to normalize eugenics itself.

I don't think that caring about the normalization of eugenics and calling out boycotts on companies and actors/models is a bad thing after the eugenics history of the USA in which all groups have been seen as subhuman except for whites.
