Well the DJI FPV weighs 795 grams and has a top speed if 87 MPH. That means its impact energy could be as much as 443 ft/lbs upon impact. For reference, a 9mm gun firing a 115 grain (not gram) projectile at 1180 fps generates about 356 ft/lbs of energy and that's just at the muzzle. Bullets are traveling slower the farther they travel where as a drone could be accelerating upon impact.

Yes, drones can be very dangerous.

Though that 443 ft/lbs is also spread out over a much larger area than a bullet, and unless the shooter is outside, they won't really have the space to get anywhere close to their maximum speed.

I feel like if drones were really this deadly, we'd hear a lot more about people using them as weapons, because it sounds much better (and quite possibly cheaper) than using a gun to kill someone.

they do use them, as weapons they just make them explode at the end too.
