They may look like travel shampoo bottles and smell like bubblegum, but after a few hundred puffs, some disposable, electronic cigarettes and vape pods release higher amounts of toxic metals than older e-cigarettes and traditional cigarettes, according to a study from the University of California, Davis. For example, one of the disposable e-cigarettes studied released more lead during a day’s use than nearly 20 packs of traditional cigarettes.

Holy raging badgerfuck, you’re comparing an object deliberately designed to contain sperm with lithium fucking batteries contained in vapes. Not dildos, fucking vapes. You could’ve compared batteries to used fucking drinking straws, but decided to zero in on used condoms, instead. That’s stupefyingly fucking weird.

Do you actually fucking believe their hands are drenched with body fluids after harvesting the batteries? Do you think all vapes are just completely covered with spit and semen?

Jesus fucking christ, is there any part of your fucking brain that has any connection to sense, any at all?

You. Have. To. Touch. Them. To. Open. Them. To. Get. To. The. Dollar. Store. Battery.

What is the difficulty here?

I don't see plastic straws on the ground anymore since they've been banned, paper straws on the ground are not a problem.

I think I see why you're grasping at straws, however.

Picking up disgusting items that have been in people's mouths to harvest cheap batteries is fucking weird.

The concept of people working in recycling plants must cause you no end of existential horror. They touch all manner of things that have had contact with all manner of nasty shit, and those people do just fine.

Know how? Gloves. PPE. I’m pretty fucking sure the person recycling vape batteries, at the very least, considered this, and is even likely using PPE. How this simple and obvious concept has seemingly avoided your thought processes entirely is baffling, but not my problem.

Your apparent mysophobia does not make the modest recycling efforts of others fucking weird just because you’re disgusted by it. Stop assuming the very worst of a situation and stop being fucking weird.
