Idk if this anatomy is accurate for terrestrial snails too, but to be fair for aquatic snails the turds float away immediately.

They’re actually quite delicious! And tender! People who say that their consistency is "like chewing gum" never actually ate them. They’re super tender like the most tender filet you’ve ever had. And it they only taste of the compound butter they’re served with.
