before i had played the game, someone spoiled me on the thing at the end. So when i was playing through it i started developing a theory that the Bug and the Detective had somehow managed to switch minds and you were playing as the bug and that's why you couldn't remember jackshit, cause the entire time you were a fucking arthropod. Of course that's not what happened but its still pretty funny to think about
That ending would have felt like a cop-out (put intended) in any other game with lesser writing, but I could dig it with DE.
