Its fine to take some time off of HRT. I mean its not the best for me in terms of how I feel mentally, but not catastrophic and physically afaik its fine. I was just off for quite a while and started back up again last week like it's nothing, felt better after a couple days.
Its also fine to revisit this when you're feeling better. None of this has to be a permanent decision you make on the spot and dig into permanently.
I've got a similar relationship with my parents tbh (minus the going through my stuff, though they were a little nosy when I was a kid) so I get the reticence to tell them.
my strat would probably be to do the spy shit but less "stay-behind weapons cache in the woods" and more "deposit box" or dead drop or something (I stored my hrt just in a cabinet unprotected at room temp for ages, it may not be ideal but its fine).
I mean honestly, even if you just found say, a trans-friendly business and asked if someone could store your supplies for you, and you just visit once a week, inject in the bathroom, and go home, that could work. It takes some trust and some chatting and feeling it out, but at least where I'm from I'm confident someone would do it for me.
But you can make your own decisions, I perhaps got overexcited offering ideas, I hope it works out for you regardless
