Imagine making up screen shots and posting edge cases to a forum to try and make a product look worse then it is 🤣
It's a computer program. It doesn't love you. Not like you want it to.
I'd agree if it's made up, but this seems credible and is an example of how Google AI search overview can be annoying, and is consistent with my experience.
You out in a quick query that pre-ai Google was very well geared to handle and, unpredictably, it sometimes decides to take up my screen with an AI result that isn't useful in front of useful traditional Google output. If I wanted AI response I could have directed my query as such, but using Google now will either turn my search query into an AI query, or conversely if I was trying to use it for AI result it wouldn't bother showing the AI overview then..
Google search is now unpredictable over whether it will force AI answer in front or completely ignore trying to do an AI result at all. I don't see it as good either for people looking to avoid AI nor people wanting to use AI.
